Platinum

A private, on-device reference for selected cisplatin-fitness criteria.

Platinum is a click-through reference for selected, published Galsky-style cisplatin-fitness criteria. It steps through six reference domains — performance status, renal function, peripheral neuropathy, hearing impairment and heart failure — and shows whether the values entered match the selected published reference thresholds.

Every calculation, including Cockcroft-Gault creatinine clearance, is performed locally on the device. Platinum needs no account and no network connection, holds entered values only for the current assessment, and stores no patient identifiers.

Platinum is a private educational and reference tool. It does not contain patient data, make treatment recommendations or determine treatment suitability, and it does not replace clinical judgement. It only compares entered values against reference thresholds that are already published. Aerodromic is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the authors of the criteria referenced or any organisation named here.

Capabilities

Published criteria, summarised at a glance

01

Follows the published criteria

Platinum mirrors selected, published Galsky-style cisplatin-fitness criteria. Each reference domain is presented with its scale — ECOG, Karnofsky, CTCAE neuropathy and hearing grading, and NYHA class — alongside the threshold that the entered value is compared against.

02

Compares entered values to reference thresholds

After the domains are completed, Platinum presents a Criteria Summary showing whether each entered value matches the selected reference threshold. It distinguishes thresholds that are matched, thresholds that are not matched, and required values that are still missing.

03

Calculates creatinine clearance on the device

The renal section estimates creatinine clearance with the Cockcroft-Gault equation from age, sex, weight and serum creatinine, in µmol/L or mg/dL, or accepts a measured value. The result is computed locally and rounded to one decimal place.

04

Works entirely on the device

Platinum requires no account, no network connection and no backend. Entered values are held only for the current assessment, nothing is uploaded, and starting a new assessment clears the previous values.

How it works

From a few entered values to a clear criteria summary

01 · Begin Open Platinum and start a new assessment from the welcome screen.
02 · Enter Step through six reference domains, selecting values or entering the renal inputs.
03 · Review Read the Criteria Summary: thresholds matched, not matched or missing, with the calculated creatinine clearance.
04 · Reference Consult the bundled references, criteria content version and privacy information at any time.

Interface

Inside the application

A quiet, focused Android interface designed for quick reference at the point of teaching or review.

Platinum welcome screen
Welcome — a short explanation of the educational purpose, with quick access to About, References and Privacy.
Reference domains with thresholds
Domains — performance status, renal function, neuropathy, hearing and NYHA class, each with a reference table and the threshold that matters.
Renal calculator screen
Renal calculator — Cockcroft-Gault estimation or a measured creatinine clearance, shown against the ≥ 60 mL/min reference threshold.
Criteria Summary table
Criteria Summary — a clear table of domain, entered value, reference threshold and status, with the calculated creatinine clearance where available.
References and citations screen
References — the source citations behind each threshold, what part of the app they support, and the criteria content version.
Privacy and About screen
Privacy & About — what the app does and does not do, stated plainly, with confirmation that all calculations are performed locally.

Privacy

Nothing leaves the device

Platinum collects no personal data, requires no login and makes no network requests for its core function. It is not designed to store patient identifiers, and deleting the app removes any locally held app data.
