Privacy Policy

Summary

Toxicon is designed to work offline. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal or sensitive user data. The App:

• Does not require an account or login.
• Does not contain advertising or analytics services.
• Does not use tracking technologies.
• Does not request access to location, contacts, camera, microphone, files, or other sensitive device information.
• Does not transmit searches, favorites, usage information, or device identifiers to Aerodromic or third parties.

Information stored on your device

Toxicon stores limited information locally on your device to provide its features:

• Your recent search terms.
• The CTCAE terms you mark as favorites.
• The bundled CTCAE reference database and related application settings.

This information remains in the App’s private storage and is not accessible to Aerodromic. Recent searches can be cleared within the App, and favorites can be removed individually. You can delete all locally stored information by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App.

Device backups and transfers

Depending on your Android device and backup settings, Android may include the App’s locally stored information in a device backup or transfer it to another device. Such backup and transfer services are operated by Google or your device provider and are governed by their respective privacy policies. Aerodromic does not access or control these backups. You can manage device backup settings through your Android system settings.

Sharing initiated by you

The App allows you to copy or share CTCAE reference content using Android’s sharing features. Information is shared only when you deliberately choose this action and select a destination application or recipient. Aerodromic does not receive the content you share; its subsequent handling is governed by the privacy practices of the application or service you select.

Third-party services

Toxicon does not include advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or other third-party data-collection SDKs. Google Play and your device’s operating system may independently process information relating to installation, updates, purchases, reviews, device backups, or use of their services. Such processing is controlled by Google or the relevant device provider and is not performed by Toxicon.

Data security

Locally stored information is protected by Android’s application sandbox and the security features of your device. Because the App does not transmit user information to Aerodromic, we do not maintain a server-side database containing Toxicon user data.

Data retention and deletion

Aerodromic does not retain personal or sensitive user information from the App on its servers. Information stored locally remains on your device until you:

• Clear recent searches or remove favorites in the App;
• Clear the App’s storage through Android settings; or
• Uninstall the App.

Information contained in an Android backup may remain subject to the backup provider’s retention and deletion practices.

Children’s privacy

Toxicon is a professional medical-reference application and is not directed specifically at children. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App’s features, data practices, or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be published on this page with a new effective date.
